About Me:

I decided to go into massage therapy around the year 2005. I had been in Nursing since 1995 with many different types of people. 3 years later, I went to work with two different counties around the area of Marion where I grew up in. I was working with a lot of in-home heath related issues and interacting with a wide variety of clients. After that, I went in to being strictly in nursing homes where I was lifting, showering, and feeding up to 14 people in an 8 hour shift. It was constant and very stressful. Then I had taken my first class in Benevolent touch this was just the basic soothing strokes on a person's back and arms (light touch therapy) and I was sold on massage therapy. I am a Baker College Graduate (2007), a 2 year degree program that focused on many types of medical issues, sports massages, deep tissue, neurological problems, Pain relief, and of course relaxation. I studied many different approaches in Massage Therapy and I am affiliated with many Cancer programs.

I utilize many relaxation techniques as well as different approaches for every one's different needs in Massage. Your level of comfort and relaxation is very important to me as well as knowing and understanding what your needs or wants are. Your comfort is my number one priority.  I always watch the body for any signs of discomfort as well as listen to your responses even if you do not say it!
