 Grand Rapids--A very well know Grand Rapids eatery is closed for renovations until February 13th at 7am. Marie Catrib's, located at 1001 Lake Drive near Diamond SE, closed on Saturday for ten days of remodeling. Catrib is a native of Lebanon and learned to cook in her grandmothers kitchen. She moved to Flint in 1970 then opened a restaurant in the U.P. She was also the pastry chef at the Biltmore Estate in North Carolina before moving to Grand Rapids and opening her current Deli in the East Hills neighborhood.
