Failure Lab to help people learn from failures

GRAND RAPIDS (WZZM) - Failure is ususally something people don't want to talk about. But, that is going to change Thursday night at an event called Failure Lab.

This is a first-time event organized by a group of West Michigan business people. A number of story tellers will present their failure tales, but the storytellers will not give the lessons they learned. Then members of the audience will write down or tweet their opinions and lessons about those stories.

You can learn more at the Failure Lab website.

The event will be held at Wealthy Street Theatre at 7 pm Thursday. It is sold out, but you can follow the night's events on Twitter at #failurelab.

Jonathan Williams, one or the organizers of Failure Lab, appeared on the WZZM 13 Morning News this morning and gave Lauren Stanton and Derek Francis a sampling of what you can expect at the evening's event. Click the attached video to watch.
