GRAND RAPIDS, (WZZM) -- Hundreds of bright minds gathered today for the second annual TEDxGrandRapids conference.
Twelve experts shared their stories to inspire others to make West Michigan a more enriched community. Speakers included a director at Microsoft, a CNN contributor, a poet and even a Grammy nominee. The audience was hand selected.
There are TEDx conferences in other Michigan cities including Detroit, Lansing and Muskegon.
The original TED conferences started 20 years ago focusing on technology, entertainment and design.
