Grand Rapidians observe Memorial Day | News
GRAND RAPIDS (WZZM)- Most people marked Memorial Day on Monday, May 28th. But Wednesday night Grand Rapids held its observance of the holiday on the date Memorial Day was originally held in the United States.
A National Guard brass band, veterans and people in period costume marched through downtown streets for the Grand Rapids Memorial Day Parade. It ended with a ceremony at Veterans Memorial Park to remember the men and women who have served and died for our country.
