Celebration on the Grand starts with a bang | News
Grand Rapids (WZZM)- The Celebration on the Grand starts officially kicks off Friday evening. The infamous fireworks display will have people flocking to Downtown.
Celebration on the Grand is a community event that mixes live music, with food, and all kinds of family fun. The event will take place in both Rosa Parks Circle and Ah Nab Awen Park Friday and Saturday.
The annual fireworks display is being brought to you by Steelcase, Mlive, and Fifth Third Bank. The show will start at dusk.
Saturday offers an open roller skating party for kids and adults alike. You can rent a pair of skates for just one dollar. If you bring your own skates, the skate is completely free.
80's rock band, Great White is scheduled to hit the stage for a free outdoor concert Saturday at 9:30 p.m.
Celebration on the Grand is a free event.
