New renovation bringing more 'hipness' to GR
GRAND RAPIDS - (WZZM) - More hip and cool living is coming to downtown Grand Rapids.
The Kendall Building, at the corner of Fulton and Division near the Monroe Center, has been vacant for years and has been an eyesore. Developers were able to get a grant to refurbish the building into the 616 Lofts.
The $4 million renovation project will turn the five-story property into a mix of loft apartments, office space, and retail outlets.
The project is expected to be done in the summer of 2013.
