Broadway Grand Rapids welcomes Blue Man Group | News

GRAND RAPIDS (WZZM)- The Blue Man Group is the opening performance of Broadway Grand Rapids' new season.

The stop here is part of the Blue Man Group's first theatrical tour hitting more intimate venues, like DeVos Place. Broadway Grand Rapids says people can expect a lot of surprises in the show.

Meghan Distel, Director for Marketing and Public Relations, says " It's not your average typical tap dancing singing and storyline you'd traditionally see with a typical broadway show. What we love about it it appeals to people who love music people who love creativity."

Distel adds, "Interacting with people is what its all about. They do that without even talking no spoken word. In Blue Man Group they use all kinds of fun things that keep you engaged from start to finish."

Tickets are still available at the DeVos Place and Van Andel arena box offices for the performances that start on Tuesday.

The show runs from September 25th -30th.
