St. Cecilia Music Center to honor musicians at ArtPrize | News
GRAND RAPIDS (WZZM)- St. Cecilia Music Center continues its role as the music hub for ArtPrize.
It's offering special music cash prizes for top votes received in five musical genres.
Cathy Holbrook, Executive Director of St. Cecilia Music Center, stopped by the Weekend Morning News to share details. They musicians will compete in the musical genres of pop/electronic, rock/blues, folk/country, jazz and classical.
Listening stations will be available during the entire three weeks of ArtPrize. Winners in five genres of music will be awarded $2000 each and will be announced Sunday at Rosa Parks Circle during the top ten announcements.
The Thirsty Perch Blues Band also performed during the Weekend Morning News.
