GRAND RAPIDS (WZZM)-ArtPrize 2012 is officially over.
Saturday was the final day visitors could view the more than 1,500 entries on display throughout the Grand Rapids area.
This year's competitors can begin taking down their pieces Monday. The only entry that must stay in the city is this year's grand prize winner, "Elephants" by Adonna Khare. ArtPrize organizers say the 35 foot by eight foot sketch will remain at the Grand Rapids Art Museum through Thanksgiving, while they determine its permanent home.
