Fall food drive kicks off for homeless | News
Grand Rapids (WZZM)- Mel Trotter Ministries has teamed up with Scoops Ice Cream Shoppe for its annual Fall Food Drive.
All donations will help keep the Mel Trotter pantry full for the holidays, and fill food boxes for the needy.
People can drop off non-perishable and/or canned food items to all Biggby Coffee Shops and Chemical Bank locations.
Mel Trotter retail stores and Scoops Ice Cream Shoppe will also accept donations.
If you order Scoops ice cream for delivery, you can give your donations to your delivery person as well.
Scoops offered free sundaes on Saturday to Mel Trotter patrons.
Scoops Ice Cream Shoppe is located at 3500 Remembrance Road Northwest in Walker.
The Fall Food Drive runs from October 22nd to December 3rd.
