GRAND RAPIDS (WZZM) -- One of the best costume parties this weekend is on Friday night at The B.O.B., and everyone will be in the same costumes -- togas!
It's the second annual "Let's Toga for Special Olympics," a fundraiser for athletes in Kent and Barry Counties.
There will be Greek food, music, dancing, an auction and a costume contest.
"This is a huge fundraiser," says Jolon Hull from Special Olympics Michigan. "All the funds raised that support athletes in Kent and Barry Counties come from donations of individuals and companies in our area. We rely on volunteers to make our program happen."
There are more than 1,000 athletes that compete in Kent and Barry Counties in 23 year-round sports.
WZZM 13's Juliet Dragos will emcee the event. Tickets are $35 and you can buy them online or at the door. For more information visit the Special Olympics Michigan website.
