Zombies invade downtown Grand Rapids | News
GRAND RAPIDS (WZZM)-Blood was pumping in downtown Grand Rapids Saturday night as zombies invaded Ah-Nab-Awen Park.
The post-apocalyptic scene was part of this year's Zombie Dash. 'Survivors' had to run a 5k without letting the zombies strip them of their flags. The more flags they lost, the more minutes were added to their finish time.
Many people who dressed up as zombies for the run say they're ready to do it again next year.
Kalamazoo plans to hold its own Zombie Dash next spring.
