Saint Mary's President Phil McCorkle to retire | News
GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. (WZZM) - The longest serving Chief Executive Officer of Saint Mary's Health Care, Phil McCorkle, has announced his plans for retirement.
During his 12 years as President and CEO he led a $40 million fundraising campaign for the Lacks Cancer Center, and layed the grounwork for the new neuroscience and oncology programs at the Hauenstein Center.
McCorkle says he plans to retire in the summer of 2013.
Saint Mary's Health Care Board of Trustess has formed a committee to conduct a nationwide search for McCorkle's replacement.
