Downtown GR goes black in morning outage | News
GRAND RAPIDS (UPDATE) - As of 9:00am, power is back on in downtown Grand Rapids.
Grand Rapids Community College is reopening at 10:00am and resuming normal schedules.
GRAND RAPIDS (WZZM)- A large section of Downtown Grand Rapids is in the dark because of a morning power outage.
Consumers Energy tells WZZM 13 that 3,000 people are without power, mostly between Cherry Street and I-196.
Crews are currently working to restore power, but they do not know when power will be restored.
