The weather during the month of January was much warmer and wetter than usual with less snowfall than average.
Temperatures during January averaged 28.0°F, 3.6°F above average but 1.7°F colder than last year (29.7°F). Twenty days were warmer than usual, nine were colder, and two were considered average. The highest temperature occurred on January 29 with 58°F while the lowest temperature occurred on January 22 with -2°F.
Precipitation was well-above average last month measuring 4.01", 1.92" more than usual and 0.81" more than last year (3.20"). There were sixteen days with measurable precipitation, which is exactly average (16).
Snowfall totaled 17.0" for January, 3.8" less than usual and 10.0" less than last year (27.0").
