Betty White performs Tuesday night at LaughFest | News
GRAND RAPIDS (WZZM) - One of the biggest names in comedy will take the stage tonight in Grand Rapids for LaughFest.
Original Golden Girl and recent Saturday Night Live performer Betty White will perform in front of a sold-out crowd at the Devos Performance Hall.
It's a performance that many people have been anxiously waiting for, including Leann Arkema, president and CEO of Gilda's Club Grand Rapids.
"We are so thrilled to have red-hot Betty White here in town to celebrate Gilda's Club 10th Anniversary. She was thrilled to come. She just loves this concept of LaughFest, of course, she's the queen of comedy," says Arkema.
White's third husband died of cancer so Gilda's Club holds a special place in her heart, according to Arkema, which is one of the reasons White wanted to come to Grand Rapids and be apart of LaughFest.
Tickets for "An Evening with Betty White" are sold out, however, tickets are still available to view a simulcast of her program at the Devos Place at 7:45pm. Tickets cost $12.50 and will be available at the door until they sell out, or at ticketmaster.com.
