Comic coming to LaughFest dies | News
(WZZM) - A comedian slated to appear at LaughFest has died of a heart attack.
Punchline Magazine is reporting that Mike De Stefano has died suddenly of a heart attack. He was slated to appear at Gilda's LaughFest in Grand Rapids on Tuesday, March 15 in the Bud Light Comedy Jam at the Orbit Room.
According to the blog on PunchlineMagazine.com, De Stefano made the final five in the last series of NBC reality show Last Comic Standing and was a former heroin addict who took to stand-up after working as a drugs counsellor. He was also HIV positive.
