Free Forum for Kent County Land Bank on Mar. 23rd

In 2009 the Kent County Land Bank Authority was created to reclaim, maintain and transfer vacant properties for redevelopment and revitalize neighborhoods. Having adopted by-laws, procedures and policies, the KCLBA hopes to become operational soon. Along with the Grand Rapids Area Coalition to End Homelessness, and Foreclousre Response, this first open forum event will inform residents, developers, planners, housing advocates and elected officials about opportunities offered by land banks. Kent County Treasurer Ken Parrish will speak after keynote speaker Eric Schertzing of the Ingham Country Land Bank.

The forum will be held at the Dominican Center, 2025 East Fulton, Grand Rapids, from 3:30 p.m. to 5:00 p.m., on Mar. 23rd. Please RSVP by Mar. 21st by calling the Kent County Treasurer's office at 616-632-7513.
