U-M to host West regional in Grand Rapids for 2013 NCAA Hockey Tournament

The University of Michigan will be a host school when the 2013 NCAA Hockey Tournament gets underway. Michigan will host the West regional from March 29th to March 31st at Van Andel Arena in Grand Rapids.  The dates mark the 7th time the arena has been a host for the tournament, with the last time playing host in 2009. It also marks the 6th time U of M has been a host school however, this will be the first time away from their home Yost Arena in Ann Arbor with 2003 being the last time at Yost.

Other sites for the tournament include:

East: Providence, Rhode Island with Brown University playing host school.

Northeast: Manchester, New Hampshire with University of New Hampshire playing host.

Midwest: Toledo, Ohio and Bowling Green University hosting there.
