 RT London (My Town Grand Rapids North) is taking on Terryberry (My Town Grand Rapids Central). The winner of that match up will take on the winner of the battle between REY Longboard Trucks (My Town Muskegon)  and Hudsonville Ice Cream .

It's Tigers time at the Boat & Canoe Club

Legion Members, Mark your calendar for the Opening Day Party for the Detroit Tigers at the Boat & Canoe Club in Grand Rapids. The party starts at 4:00pm on Monday, April 1st and $5 will get you in the door for a big variety of Baseball Food, included.

The highlight at the 7th inning, besides the Tigers winning the game, will be the big raffle of the “Tub of Fun”. This tub is loaded with everything you can imagine to have fun. There are Tigers sweatshirts & T-Shirts, gift cards, caramel corn, soft sided cooler, hats and a big variety of spirits and libations, a $500 value. Tickets for this tub are $5 or 3 for $10, available at the club. You do not have to be present to win this great prize.

All men are invited to Dominican Center at Marywood for a morning of good times, fellowship, expert fly fishing advice with hands-on instruction and a hearty cookout. Glen Blackwood of Great Lakes Fly Fishing Company will be our fishing guide, leading an introduction to fly fishing with a focus on fly casting; Brian Plachta will be our spiritual guide.

Whether you are a beginner or an expert, you are sure to pick up some great tips on how to fine tune your fishing techniques. You'll be ready to tackle any of Michigan's waterways.

The Sea to Sea 2013 Bike Tour is a nine week, 3,900-mile cycling trek across North America designed to raise awareness and funds in support of those living in poverty around the world.

Sea to Sea is a non-profit organization headquartered near 28th Street and Kalamazoo in Kentwood. The Sea to Sea 2013 Bike Tour follows the shape and format of similar cycling projects hosted by the Christian Reformed Church in 2005 and 2008, which raised millions of dollars to send to local, national and international agencies fighting poverty.

Wyoming Group Survives The Titanic!
A group from the Wyoming Senior Center recently enjoyed a trip together on the Titanic. This week, they headed down to the Grand Rapids Public Museum to view the Titanic: The Artifact Exhibition. They said they enjoyed the trip and are happy to report that 14 people in their group "survived." If you'd like to see the Titanic exhibit, it is scheduled to run through July 7, 2013.
