Grand River Spills Over Walking Paths in Downtown Grand Rapids

Grand River Spills Over Walking Paths in Downtown Grand Rapids

If part of your excercise program or training for the Fifth Third Riverbank run involves the walking paths along the Grand River downtown, you may need to find another place.

Both the east and west banks of the Grand River in downtown Grand Rapids are beyond flood stage and up over the concrete paths and wooden decks where downtowners frequent a stroll along the river.

Brent Adani, who resides downtown said "In my 7 years living downtown, I have never seen the river so high and these paths totally submerged"
